Next NSC meeting features ‘Aperitif’s, Wines of Bulgaria, The Drink Trust and Bancroft Wines’

Priority (and half-price) tickets to our NSC events for UKSA members is going to be handy as this bumper meeting is likely to be extremely popular.

The Fifth Northern Sommelier Club gathering will take place on Monday, September 9th, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Skof in Manchester.

11:30 to 12:00 - Registration

12.00 to 12.45 - Aperitif by Ronan Lieugard of Château d’Esclans

1.00 to 2:30 - The Wines of Bulgaria Masterclass by Dilyan Kolev and Georgi Panayotov

2.45 - 3.00 - The Drink Trust by Alexandra Miller - 15 min

3.10 to 3:45 - Bancroft Wines Micro portfolio presentation (6 Wines) by Johnny Patterson of Bancroft Wines.

4.00 to 5.00 - Drinks After class “Wines under the radar”

About Skof

First solo restaurant from award-winning chef Tom Barnes which opened in the NOMA district of Manchester earlier this year. The restaurant focuses on skill and simplicity, utilizing quality ingredients from local farmers, suppliers, and growers.

On the day of the Event

The meeting will take place at Skot restaurant. Due to size limitations, we are keeping the number of attendees to a maximum of 40 ppl giving priority to UKSA members, wine professionals, and Educators.

Donation cost

For members of the UKSA, we are keeping the same cost as previous events, £5 donation will be requested for the Skof team members to cover some of the day’s expenses for non-members will be an extra £5 so £10 in total

Please bring the donation in cash on the day of the Event.
