Northern Sommelier Club…event 3!

NSC EVENT 3! The massively successful first two meetings of our Northern affiliate the Northern Sommelier Club will be followed by this event, focussing on the Alsace region:

Alsace history, terroir and wines by MS Eric Zwiebel. Eric, with the support of CIVA @vinsalsace (Committee of Alsace Wines), will direct a masterclass on his native region. Eight wines will be presented, and the diversity of styles and terroir that Alsace is about will be showcased.

Laure Patry - Wine Source

Laure is a sommelier, currently working with Wine Source as their Country Manager.

Laure was voted best sommelier in the UK by Harpers Wine. She has managed international teams throughout her 20+ year career, across London, New York, Hong Kong and Singapore, and was most recently Executive Head Sommelier at The Social Company. Laure brings a wealth of experience in fine wine and top service, and an extensive network of wine producers, sommeliers and key restaurants throughout the UK and beyond.

‘Drinks After Class”

The idea is simple: We ask each person to bring a bottle from an “under-the-radar” producer, region, or country that you believe deserves more attention.

This will give you an inside look at what other beverage professionals are serving at their place of work (or drinking at home) and allow you to taste some “undercovered” wines.

One bottle per person of any style & colour to be enjoyed and tasted by all members during the day.
